That feeling of home. Not your weekday, 9-to-5 home, but the place where time slows down, where nature and stillness bring clarity, and where memories are made without even trying.

That’s exactly what Round Top and the surrounding Brenham area mean to us. We’re Caitlin and Tracy—a couple, property owners, and now, co-founders of Texas Retreat and Land Resources. This company is more than a new business—it’s the next chapter of a passion that’s been growing for years. We’ve walked these fields, hauled brush, ridden the trails on our ATVs, and ended plenty of days around a fire pit with good drinks and better friends.

We’ve also experienced the other side of land ownership—the endless to-do lists, the hard-to-find vendors, the guest prep stress, the "are we sure someone checked on the pipes?" kind of worries. That’s why we launched Texas Retreat and Land Resources: to help other landowners, weekenders, and short-term rental hosts love their property more and worry about it less.

Our mission is simple: Make land and homeownership in this beautiful part of Texas easier, more enjoyable, and better supported.

From property care and home watch to guest prep, vendor coordination, ranch maintenance, and concierge services, we’re building a reliable team that feels more like a neighbor than a business. Whether you're managing a weekend rental, caring for a family ranch, or just want your land to feel a little more like paradise—we’re here to help.

When we’re not out on our own land (or mowing, fishing, chasing dogs, or watching the stars), you’ll probably find us at Ellis Motel with a cocktail in hand or at Round Top Brewing Company, catching up with friends and meeting new ones. We’re proud of this community, and we’re excited to grow with it—supporting other folks who’ve found their version of paradise here too.
